Watching the garden grow and blossom (yey! for strange round courgettes!)
and escaping on my bike down the lanes (at 9pm at night in the light!)
* remembering that all life is change
* kind words from lovely friends
* listening to the birds (and the rather noisy sheep)
* finishing a really good book (The Loop) and starting another (A Short History of Tractors in Ukranian)
* hugs and warmth when I really neeed it
* making and eating cake
I know it all sounds a bit cheesy but hey, I am just a hippy really x
I'm glad you were able to find a bit of joy after a week of stress and worry.
ReplyDeleteKind words and hugs and warmth, will always do the trick and cake too. :)

ReplyDeleteIt's good that you've found happy little things in amongst the stress. I had a tough week too, but there have been good moments and I'm concentrating on those! The flowers in your garden look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteRemembering that all life is change :) i love that thankyou beautiful blog and garden xx
ReplyDeleteThankyou so much for all your lovely comments, I'm pretty new to the blogging world but I'm loving the networking and finding inspiration from all you lovely fellow blogging birds! It was really good to just sit back and think about good things that had happened in the week because it's way too easy to just rememner the darker moments. Thanks to Monica at Bohemian Twilight for sharing the idea!
ReplyDeleteWishing you all love, light and laughter x
Your joy pockets are lovely - cake? Nothing like it and remembering life is all change and embracing it. Hope next week is better for you...
